The fine print, in plain English
- Savings means your bill actually goes down. Exemptions you already had don't count.
- We invoice after the county confirms in writing. Due in 30 days.
- The fee covers the first year of the reduction. If the county keeps your lower value on its own later, you owe nothing more.
- Unclaimed funds: free search, 10% of what's recovered (California's legal maximum), paid only after the state pays you.
- Simple exemptions (homestead, homeowners') are free.
