Information we collect

• From you: name, email, phone, mailing and property addresses, parcel numbers, ownership details, property condition, photos and documents you send, and your signature on agreements.
• From public records: assessor and appraisal-district records, recorded sales, and state unclaimed-property listings.
• Automatically: basic site usage such as pages visited and device type, to keep the site working and improve it.

How we use it

• To prepare your review and evidence, file appeals and claims you authorize, and communicate with you.
• To invoice you after a successful result.
• To meet legal and record-keeping requirements.

Who we share it with

• County assessors, appraisal districts, appeals boards and state agencies, when filing on your behalf.
• Service providers that help us run the business (website hosting, email, e-signature, payments), only as needed to provide their service.
• When required by law.

We do not sell or share your personal information for money or for cross-site advertising.

Text messages

We text you only if you opt in. Reply STOP to stop at any time. Your phone number and consent are never shared for marketing.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@recoupcap.com. We'll respond within 45 days. We may keep records we're legally required to keep, such as filed documents.

Do Not Track

We don't track you across other websites, so we respond to browser "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals by default.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed for your services and legal obligations.

Children

Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above and notify clients by email of material changes.
